We want to contribute to French food sovereignty

As a leader in the French pork and processed meats market, we put our commitment to excellence to the test each and every day. Having control over the quality of our procurements is of vital importance to us. This is possible because we are able to rely on a powerful industrial organisation that combines both portioning and processing, and in which the different sites collaborate closely to ensure top-quality sourcing.

Consumers want to enjoy well-balanced, natural products with no harmful health effects, but without having to compromise when it comes to taste and nutritional value. With our Quality and Safety policy, we are committed to the broad-based marketing and distribution of safe, healthy products. Our production benefits from the particularly stringent IFS certification.
The pork we source is 100% French and traceability of origin is ensured.

As a major supplier of meats and prepared products to many different markets, we are committed to improving our recipes:

  • Replacement of additives with simple, natural ingredients
  • Reduction of salt content
  • Optimisation of fat content

We aim to optimise our use of the region’s resources

One overarching ethical consideration governs our purchasing policy: we believe in the values of long-term stability and loyalty. In line with our firmly held philosophy, we have always worked to develop strong partnerships with our suppliers and take great pleasure in sharing our growth with them.

We share common human and social values with the local communities. That is why we make sure that the Group’s financial capabilities are used in a way that reflects our deep-seated commitment to the region by supporting more than 50 sporting associations in the vicinity of our industrial sites, in the places where our employees live. For example, the FC Lorient® professional football team has counted on our support as a major sponsor for many years. Finally, we also show our solidarity in support of fund-raising initiatives for important causes such as the fight against cancer.

We strive to mobilise our workforce

Our Group pays special attention to the well-being of each and every employee: we help them develop by offering training programmes designed to ensure continuous upskilling. For us, it is vital that our teams possess the necessary skills and work closely together. That is why we founded our own training site in 1993. We also invest heavily in solutions designed to improve working conditions. We place great value on equal opportunities and inclusivity, employing a high proportion of individuals with disabilities. Finally, an incentivising wage policy helps secure the loyalty of our teams. Thus, the average length of service of our employees, 97% of whom are employed on permanent contracts, is 18 years.

Centre d'énergies renouvelables LIGER

The Group is an agribusiness specialist that is firmly committed to preserving natural resources. Our environmental performance is also reflected by the choice and design of our packaging, in the way we recycle and reuse our waste products as well as in our decarbonisation action plan. Our main production sites are ISO 50001 certified, testifying to the effectiveness of our energy management models. These cover 90% of our energy consumption and help reduce our environmental footprint.

We are a founding partner of a renewable energy centre near the town of Locminé: LIGER (Locminé Innovation et Gestion des Énergies Renouvelables®) which transforms biowaste into green energy using anaerobic digestion and biomass processes. We are the initiative’s largest supplier of organic materials.

As a key stakeholder in the food value chain, we consider social responsibility to be an element that determines the way we organise our relations with our customers. Indeed, it is even a criterion in our choice of partners that enables us to face the great challenges to come
